TORONTO—The quilt works of mother-daughter Judy and April Martin was on display at an exhibition recently in Toronto.

“The two of us put together a beautiful exhibition of hand stitched quilts,” said Judy of their exhibition, ‘Earlier and Later,’ held at the Craft Ontario Gallery in Toronto in June. 

Robyn Wilcox, executive director and curator of Craft Ontario reported in a release in June, ‘Earlier and Later’ opens in the Craft Ontario Gallery (June 18). This two-person exhibition features the work of Judy and April Martin, a mother and daughter whose qualified compositions explore themes of personal history, material transformation and the rhythms of nature through intricate hand-stitched textiles.”
