In loving memory of Peter Kanasawe. Born in Toronto, on August 7, 1975. A resident of Little Current. Passed at the Manitoulin Health Centre, Little Current on September 5, 2016. Proud father of Peter Jr. Loving son of Ben and Darlene Kanasawe. Survived by his loving sister Mandy and his special nieces Megan and Jordan. Dear grandson of Ed and Lorraine Kozeyah and Georgina Kanasawe (predeceased). Loving nephew of many aunts and uncles of the Kanasawe and Kozeyah family. Peter did not take life for granted. One of the things that we loved most about Peter was his love for life. He loved to make everyone he loved happy, especially his son Peter. We will always be grateful that we got to see him 鈥渙ne time鈥 before he left us. Peter鈥檚 favourite pastime was being with his main love, his son, and making memories with him. Peter was the business manager for Buzwah Fisheries for 20 years. He enjoyed the challenge and excelled at his job. He was his father鈥檚 right-hand man. He enjoyed music and going to concerts. Family and friends gathered at Island Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 from 6 pm to 10 pm. Burial Services were held in Buzwah Cemetery at 1:30 pm on Thursday, September 8, 2016. www.islandfuneralhome.ca.
