Yacht Club donates to Vital Visions campaign

The Little Current Yacht Club (LCYC) recently made a donation to Manitoulin Health Centre (MHC)’s Vital Visions campaign. The monies were raised through an auction which saw all of the late Jim Machum’s Mackinaw-Manitoulin Yacht Race swag auctioned off for this great cause, raising $724. As soon as LCYC Commodore mentioned Mr. Machum’s name a rainbow appeared to the delight of all in attendance. In photo, Commodore O’Hare, left, passes the cheque to MHC CEO and president Paula Fields, who was effusive in her praise for donations such as these.
