The Manitoulin Coin Club is finalizing its Music Series commemorative coins honoring local figures like Joanne and Jim Smith, luthier Matt Maranger, and the Gore Bay Orchestra, while previewing a 2027 Artist Series and wooden nickels.
PROVIDENCE BAY鈥擳he Manitoulin Coin Club鈥檚 Music Series is now entering the final stages of design work, according to president Rick Dupont. 鈥淲e are excited to be getting closer to bringing these special commemorative coins to life,鈥 he announced.
鈥淲e are currently wrapping up the final design details, with adjustments and refinements underway to ensure the finished coins have the quality and character our members and collectors have come to expect from Manitoulin Coin Club projects,鈥 said Mr. Dupont.
鈥淲hile we put the finishing touches on the Music Series, work has already begun on our exciting 2027 projects,鈥 continued Mr. Dupont. 鈥淣ext year鈥檚 program will feature an Artist Series, celebrating the creativity and talent of artists connected to Manitoulin Island. Designs are already underway, and we look forward to sharing more details as the project develops.鈥
