Brookwood Brae ladies’ golf night raises funds for cancer awareness

Mindemoya’s Brookwood Brae ladies' golf group raised $481.50 for cancer awareness during their recent "Pink Night." The funds will support a local support group and the Mindemoya Hospital chemo room.

In photo are a couple of golf carts that a group of lady golfers at Brookwood Brae Golf Course in Mindemoya decorated as part of a fundraiser the ladies held for cancer research. The 59 ladies on hand also wore pink clothing for the event, held June 23.
