MINDEMOYA鈥擳hose youngsters who played on championship teams at the annual Mindemoya Youth Softball Tournament, and their families, will now be able view the trophies with their names on them, at any time of the year. 

Thanks to the generous support of Andrew Orr and Chris Pyette of Mindemoya Foodland, at the urging of tournament organizers, a new oak tournament trophy cabinet case was unveiled recently in the store. 

鈥淕ood morning, everyone and thank you for joining us for this special presentation,鈥 said Greg Lockeyer, main organizer of the Mindemoya Youth Softball tournament at the unveiling. 鈥淚n 2018, the first annual Mindemoya Youth Softball tournament was launched as a celebration of the major ball field renovation that had occurred. During that first year, we had 18 teams and 220 youth participate in two divisions.鈥

Representatives of the families whose names are on the championship trophies for the Mindemoya Youth Softball tournament, along with organizing committee members and Mindemoya Foodland were on hand to unveil a new tournament trophy cabinet case at Foodland recently.
