An investigation by the UCCM Anishnaabe Police Service has resulted in the seizure of drugs, weapons and the laying of multiple criminal charges.
On April 23, police received information regarding a potential breach of court-ordered release conditions involving an individual subject to residence requirements and GPS monitoring. The matter was investigated, the individual was arrested, charged and held for bail, where they remain in custody.
As a result, further investigation led officers to believe that firearms may be present at a residence in M鈥機higeeng 91成人导航. Search warrants were obtained and executed on April 24-25, by members of the UCCM APS crime unit, drug enforcement unit (DEU), and canine unit, with assistance from the Wikwemikong Tribal Police Service (WTPS).
