For over 30 years, the Brothers of the Blade and Brothers of the Wheel motorcycle clubs have hosted the annual Labour Day "Pennies from Heaven" event at Timberlane Rustic Lodges, raising $3,500 this year for Community Living Manitoulin and Community Living Espanola.
MINDEMOYA鈥擳he long-standing annual Pennies from Heaven event is not just a gathering of Community Living Manitoulin and Community Living Espanola clients and members of the Brothers of the Blade (BOTB) and Brothers of the Wheel (BOTW) motorcycle clubs, it is like a family reunion every year.
鈥淚 live for this,鈥 stated Jamie Prater, of the BOTW South Central Ohio, who attended the Penny Run event this past Saturday at Timberlane Rustic Lodges. 鈥淭he joy in the faces and the enthusiasm everyone has is just incredible.鈥
鈥淭his is a premier event that everyone looks forward to every year,鈥 said Tyler Madahbee, a CLM client. 鈥淓veryone is relaxed; no one has to worry about anything for a few hours.鈥
