The Manitoulin Trade Show which will feature more than 44 vendors and is being hosted by the Town of Northeastern Manitoulin and the Islands (NEMI) is taking place in Little Current for three days, beginning Friday, May 29 and continuing through Sunday, May 31 at the NEMI recreation centre. Booths will be located both inside the main ice surface and the outside parking lots of the recreation centre. There will be food vendors offering a host of culinary delights, and the main stage will feature local entertainment, demonstrations, presentations by industry experts and more. A cautionary tale for those travelling south on the Chi-Cheemaun ferry from South Baymouth, you might want to stop in at Carl鈥檚 Trading Post to fill up. Tobermory鈥檚 only gas station is closed鈥攑ossibly for the season. The nearest gas station south is around 70 kilometres south of Tobermory, or at the Nawash Unceded Indian Reserve 80 kilometres south of Tobermory.
