The Great Lakes Tugboat Rendezvous returns to the Port of Little Current on . About 18 tugs will dock for the weekend, offering visitors a chance to meet the friendly captains and crews.

Gordon/Barrie Island is hosting its annual Julia Bay Beach barbecue today. Join us on . Come socialize and enjoy live music by Chris Walker. Bring a potluck dish and savour free Burt Farm hotdogs. Please bring your own lawn chairs.

A Gore Bay Fall Fest slo-pitch tournament will take place all this weekend, starting . A total of eight teams will be taking part with games taking place at the Gore Bay ballfield. 🚶 History Stroll 🚶

The Michael's Bay Historical Society is hosting their annual historical walking tour and picnic at the Michael’s Bay townsite on . There will be guided tours leaving every half hour to tour the townsite, 800 Michael's Bay Road in Tehkummah. Parking is available at the gravel pit and you will be assigned a guide. Bring a picnic lunch or purchase refreshments on site.

The Assiginack Curling Club is hosting its annual Memorial golf tournament on at Rainbow Ridge Golf Course in Manitowaning. The event is a one-day, four-person scramble tournament.

The South Bay Gallery will be hosting an art and poetry exhibition featuring the works of Mike Chokomoolin on at the South Bay Gallery on 145 Given Road in South Baymouth. For more information [email protected].

According to Environment Canada, the sun will start off the weekend, but end in a possibility of showers on Sunday. Friday will see a daytime high of 26°C under sunny skies, while temperatures will drop to a low of 16°C overnight with a few clouds.

Saturday’ the sun sticks around, with a daytime high of 25°C. Temperatures drop to 19°C overnight and the chance of showers coming in at 30 percent.

A 60 percent chance of showers greets the day on Sunday accompanied by a daytime high of 23°C. Temperatures will drop to a low of 17°C and the chance of showers dropping to 40 percent overnight.
