Joseph Caulfield and Ray Corbiere completed their third annual 43-kilometer charity bike ride from Manitowaning to Mindemoya, delivering 205.5 pounds of hygiene items, baby food, and pet food valued at roughly $735 to Manitoulin Family Resources.
MINDEMOYA鈥擜s appeared in the Expositor鈥檚 August 26 edition, Joseph Caulfield and Ray Corbiere set out on Friday morning, September 4, for their third annual Food Bank ride. Having placed containers in six locations, three in Manitowaning and three in Mindemoya, the two men cycled the 43-kilometre distance from Manitowaning, where Mr. Caulfield lives, to the food bank in Mindemoya.
A small group was waiting to cheer and congratulate them upon their arrival at the Manitoulin Family Resources鈥 (MFR) site. Joseph Caulfield鈥檚 partner, Katherine Burns and family friend Pamela Anderson, had collected the containers and brought them to MFR ahead of the cycling duo.
