Sandy Nelson Morphet, 68, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2026, at Sault Area Hospital. Sandy was the beloved son of the late Clifford and Evelyn Morphet. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife, Rhonda Morphet (n茅e McKenzie) his children, Adam (Melissa), Kimberley (Ron), and Christopher (Jauni-Leigh); and his two cherished granddaughters, Octavia and Hadley. He was the brother of Eric (predeceased) Sheila, Elaine (predeceased), and Gary wife Janice. He is also lovingly remembered by his mother-in-law, Sheila (predeceased husband Raymond) sisters-in-law Cindy (John), Lisa (predeceased husband Rick), and Tammy (predeceased husband Chris) brother-in-law Todd as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. A graveside service will be held on Manitoulin Island at a later date. Details will be announced when they become available. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Sault Area Hospital, or a charity of your choice in Sandy鈥檚 memory.
